This Privacy Policy explains how AVGEROS CHRISTOS ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile applications (each, an "App", and together, the "Apps").
It applies to all of our mobile applications regardless of the platform you download them from. By using any of our Apps, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Apps.
01 Information We Collect
Location data
Some of our Apps use your device location to provide their core features, such as showing nearby results, calculating routes and distances, or displaying your position on a map. Depending on the App and the permissions you grant, this may include precise (GPS-level) or approximate location.
We only access location when you have granted the relevant permission through your device settings. You can change or revoke this permission at any time in your device's system settings. If you revoke it, location-dependent features may stop working or become limited.
Where an App accesses location while running in the background, we tell you clearly at the point we ask for permission, and we do so only to support a feature you have chosen to use.
Analytics and crash data
We collect diagnostic and usage information to understand how the Apps perform, to fix bugs, and to improve them. This may include:
- Device and technical information, such as device model, operating system version, language, and time zone.
- App usage information, such as which screens or features are used and how often, and general interaction events.
- Crash reports and performance logs, which may include the state of the App at the time of an error and a device identifier.
This information is used in aggregate wherever possible and is not used to build advertising profiles.
Information you give us directly
If you contact us for support or otherwise reach out to us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and the contents of your message. We use this to respond to you and keep a record of the request.
02 How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Apps and their features.
- Deliver location-based functionality that you have enabled.
- Diagnose problems, monitor stability, and improve performance and reliability.
- Understand how the Apps are used so we can make them better.
- Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Apps.
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
03 Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Consent. For access to your device location and for any optional analytics that require it, we rely on the consent you give through your device permissions. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests. For diagnostics, crash reporting, security, and improving the Apps, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and improving a stable, secure product, balanced against your rights.
- Contract. Where processing is necessary to provide a feature you have requested.
- Legal obligation. Where we must process data to comply with the law.
05 Data Retention
We keep information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Crash and diagnostic data is typically retained for a limited period sufficient to identify and fix issues, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain reasonable records. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
06 International Data Transfers
We and our service providers may process your information in countries other than the one you live in. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.
07 Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard practices.
